Bouba and Zaza

Educational Series/ 12 x 10mins
Format: 2D Animation
Target Audience: 6-9 Years Old
Stage: In Production

We recently had the pleasure of partnering with Michel Lafon Education and UNESCO to develop an educational project and development initiative that focuses on educating children across Africa as part of a global response to COVID-19.

Bouba and Zaza is a fun-filled educational 2D animated series which follows the journey of two young characters and how they learn through lively stories about the world they live in. Episodes will feature themes that focus on protecting the earth, caring for the environment, understanding HIV and AIDS, accepting people’s differences, educating the girl child and other themes in direct resonance with contemporary society. This fun-filled edutainment series encourages a dialogue with teachers, caregivers, and parents around a whole range of civic issues.

With a fantastic animation co-production team based in Africa, we are working to develop these 12 animated shorts with fresh new designs and visuals that portray diversity in animation and displaying an accurate representation for children in Africa.
